Stained and Leaded Skylight Project Beginning
The commissioning process starts from initial interview between client and studio's team. General expectations are discussed, architectural plans reviewed and a time line defined. It is recommended to involve Studio's team on early stage of the project development. Lighting, mouldings and other important details concerning opening preparation are discussed at this stage
Design Development and Discussion
Victoria Balva shall develop few design variants of the art glass project with the possibility of a couple manor revisions. The artist reserves the right to not copy the previous projects and shall improvise and adjust the design according to the Client’s grounds.
Fabrication
After design sketch and glass samples are approved by the Client, materials are ordered, full size cartoons and molds are fabricated. Decorative glass skylight fabrication begins upon receipt of all materials
Installation
The stained glass is transported to the site and installed by Studio's team, at the end of the construction process or crated and chipped to the Client's location.
